Family Storytime
This popular storytime for families with young children takes place on Wednesday and Thursday mornings at 10:15 and 10:45. Free admission tickets are required and will be available at the Youth Desk prior to each program.* Please see the Events tab for information about other events at the Carson City Library.
*Due to a lack of space, day care groups will not be admitted to library story programs. Please contact the library to schedule a special visit for your group.
After a year long side-by-side trial between Tutor.com and Brainfuse, surveyors chose BrainFuse as their prefered tutoring site! Brainfuse offers free homework tutoring sessions, live skills building, and even a writing lab to answer all your homework questions!

Past Summer Programs:Saturday, June 13, 2009 Laurie Story visited the Carson City Library to share stories and songs, and we even got to write, illustrate and narrate our own picture book! Read and listen to the Summer Reading Party Book yourself! Wednesday, August 5, 2009the Wildhorse Children's Theater came to our storytime for a preview of their latest play: Frog and Toad Forever! We are also judging a coloring contest for ages 2-21 to win VIP tickets to a performance for the entire family. You can pick up a coloring sheet here at the library, and receive a $1 off coupon on a child ticket to one of their performances just for entering. All coloring pages must be turned in by Aug. 17. For more information about show times and dates, check out their website at www.wildhorsetheater.com. Here is a video of their performance:
