Get Ready for the 2010 Summer
Reading Program!!!
This year's theme is Make Waves @ Your Library
The program will run from June 12th through August 7th. Join us at Mills Park on Aug. 7th from 12:00-2:00 p.m. for our end-of-the-Summer Reading Program Party! We will make home-made ice-cream, plus there will be face painting and lots of raffle prizes! Sign up today for this free program in the youth area of the library- open for kids ages 2 through 17, and earn all kinds of fun prizes and raffle drawings.
Video Gaming for July:- We have a Wii and an XBOX to play weekdays from 12-6 p.m., with a variety of games to choose from. You must sign up to use the gaming systems and are responsible for the equipment while using it.
Book Club:
- Wed., Aug 18th, 3:00-5:00 p.m. For this month's meeting we will be discussing book 1 of the Night World series by L. S. Smith. Copies of the book and Subs will be provided- See Amber. Please call the Youth Desk if you have questions or suggestions: 887-2244 ext. 1006.

Teen Advisory Group:
- We have a very active Teen Advisory Group. These are the dates for our monthly meetings through August 2010. Summer is almost here, and we have lots of work to do to plan our Summer Reading Program for this year! Summer meetings are from 3-5 p.m., and pizza and drinks are provided!
