Access Your Library Account From Home

You can access your account from home to view your record, see what items you have checked out, due dates, check on the status of your holds, review any fines, and renew items.

To enter your account, click on the link to the "Catalog" which is located on the left side menu of the Library's home page.

Click on the "Patron Account" tab located in the upper right side of the screen. In the login box, enter the bar code number of the Carson City Library card without spaces. Your password is your seven digit telephone number, no area code and no dash.

Items Out: to see what items are check out to you, due date and to renew items. On the right-hand side is a column with the number of renewals left per item. If this column is not showing a zero, you can renew this item by clicking the “box” on the left-hand side of the item and clicking “renew selected items”. If there are blocks on your account, the renewal is stopped and you must have Library staff renew your item.

Requests: to check on the status of your hold request(s).

Fines and Fees: review fines that may be attached to your account.

Logout: be sure to logout of the application.
